We are pleased to announce the acquisition of C4 Environmental Services, LLC (C4) by Republic Industrial and Energy Solutions, LLC (Republic Industrial). GaP functioned in the role of exclusive sell-side intermediary in the transaction, which was consummated in late September 2017.
Republic Industrial is a division of Republic Services, Inc. (RSI). RSI provides a wide variety of non-hazardous and hazardous waste disposal and recycling services to over 14 million customers in the United States and Puerto Rico.
C4 is located in Houston, Texas and is a provider of Chemical Lab Packing, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Management, Storage Tank Cleaning, and other Environmental Contractor Services to chemical manufacturing, liquid terminals, drilling & production, plating, and consumer products companies located primarily in Houston, Texas. The company provides “one-stop shop,” turnkey solutions to its customers' waste management, industrial cleaning, and environmental services needs through highly experienced and knowledgeable sales, project management, and customer support personnel; a fleet of company-owned local and over-the-road waste transport equipment; an inventory of waste vacuum and suction equipment; and a warehouse facility permitted to receive, handle, and transfer hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, and recyclable wastes.
The acquisition of C4 by Republic Industrial is part of a strategic initiative to expand its services within its existing and target industrial and manufacturing client base by becoming more “hands-on” at the point of the generation of the client’s hazardous, non-hazardous, or recyclable waste material.
